FAQs
All the things you probably want to ask, that other happy customers already have.
How much clothing will I need to create a keepsake?
What if I send too little clothing?
We will contact you to request further items or we can use a contrasting fabric at an additional cost of €5.00.
What type of clothing can I use?
Sleepsuits, baby vests, t-shirts, trousers, ties, shirts and skirts all make excellent keepsakes. Most items can be used except loose knit, very thick or padded items, leather, plastic, heavily beaded or very sheer fabrics. If you are unsure please contact us before sending to confirm if its suitable.
Do I need to wash and iron my clothing before I send them?
Clothing needs to be washed but there is no need to iron them.
Do you return unused clothing?
We do not keep or return any items of clothing that have been cut into. We do not normally return unused items unless requested to do so when the order is placed. If there is only one or two items this will be done free of charge however for a large number of items additional postage must be covered by the customer.
Can I choose where clothing is placed on my keepsake?
If you have any special requests regarding placement of fabric on your keepsake please make a note and send it with your clothing or contact us before you order. We will of course try to accommodate your request providing the pattern we use allows for it. Please let us know if you prefer a more ‘uniformed’ look to your keepsake or if you would like a little piece of every item used.
How long will it take to receive my keepsake?
Once you place your order you will be given an approx delivery date. It is usually around 4-6 weeks from when your clothing is received. Should you require your keepsake for a particular date please contact us before you order and we will try to meet your deadline.
How should I send my clothing?
It is best to send it in a mailing bag (waterproof) via courier or a method that requires a signature. You will receive confirmation once it is received with an estimated completion date.
